(SF Gate) At least 50 employees at Elon Musk’s Twitter were laid off Saturday in the latest blow to the company’s diminishing skeleton crew, as The Information first reported.

The job cuts reportedly impacted multiple engineering teams, including those that support Twitter’s advertising technology and keep the app itself up and running, as the company’s revenue continues to tank.

Among them were senior product manager Martijn de Kuijper, the founder of the editorial newsletter service Revue, which was acquired by Twitter in 2021, and Esther Crawford, the chief executive of Twitter Payments whose photo of herself sleeping on her office floor went viral last November.

“Waking up to find I’ve been locked out of my email,” de Kuijper tweeted Saturday night. “Looks like I’m let go. Now my Revue journey is really over.”
