Celebrities attending the Grammy Awards Sunday night flaunted their bare faces and embraced for photo ops, even as Los Angeles County remains under a mandatory mask mandate.
Many of the music stars who flaunted the violations on prime time broadcasts, have encouraged mask wearing and social distancing throughout the pandemic.
A mask mandate is still active in Los Angeles county where the awards were held. Violators have been threatened with a $1,000 fine or up to six months in jail. While businesses and residents are threatened with having their power turned off for violations, the coronavirus is apparently not a concern at the Grammys or celebrity parties.
