Comedian and Podcaster Joe Rogan returned to his show Tuesday after a short hiatus due to contracting the COVID-19. Since his last episode, Rogan was diagnosed with the virus and posted a video where he explained his intentions in taking various supplements and medications, including Ivermectin

Since then, mainstream media has lambasted the podcast host for taking “horse dewormer” medication. “Bro, do I have to sue CNN?” asked Joe Rogan after his guest Tom Segura poked fun at him for being misrepresented by the media.

“They’re making sh*t up. They keep saying I’m taking horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor,” Rogan said. “It’s an American company, they won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings and CNN is saying I’m taking horse dewormer.”

Ivermectin in fact earned a Nobel Prize for its powerful effects in defeating parasites in humans. “They must know that that’s a lie,” said Rogan in response to CNN alleging Ivermectin is a horse dewormer drug.
