In a Twitter thread posted on Friday, Disney heiress Abigail Disney went on an online tirade blasting those pushing back against Disney and other woke businesses that have come out in opposition to Florida’s anti-grooming bill.

Disney is the granddaughter of Roy O. Disney, who co-founded The Walt Disney Company alongside famed Walt Disney. According to Business Insider, the wealthy Disney heiress has an eye-popping net worth of $120 million.

In the lengthy Twitter thread, Disney wrote that “the right wing has finally run amok and is coming to devour the hand that feeds it. Business.”

“For my part I am delighted,” she continued. “It is the business world that has been, either by act or omission, feeding the opportunist right wing to distract [u]s with culture war nonsense while they rifle through the till and empty everyone’s pockets.”

Disney continued on to claim that “this ‘anti-woke’ right wing nonsense is unsupported by a large majority of Americans.”

In the case of Disney and Florida’s anti-grooming bill, officially called the “Parents Rights in Education” bill, current Walt Disney Company employee Jose Castillo has claimed that a “silent majority” of the company’s employees actually support the legislation.

In regards to the nation, a survey conducted by the Public Opinion Strategies group found that a majority of Americans support the bill’s text, which states that schools statewide will not teach children in kindergarten through third grade about sexual orientation or gender identity in an age-inappropriate manner.
