Rep. Rashida Tlaib has called for an end to policing following the police-involved shooting death of Daunte Wright, who was killed while evading arrest at a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Tlaib described the killing as a “murder” in an apparent call to end due process, as well.
Tlaib’s remarks echo that of the Black Lives Matter movement, which is calling for police departments throughout the United States to be defunded, if not outright abolished. In addition to calling for an end to policing, Tlaib called for to end incarceration and close the prisons, which would undoubtedly prompt the release of violent felons, sexual predators, and even convicted terrorists back into society.
It wasn't an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.
Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder.

Tlaib, a member of the Democrat so-called “Squad” weighed in on the shooting on Tuesday evening and rejected the Brooklyn Center Police Department’s explanation that the shooting was accidental, as the female cop involved allegedly mistook her standard issue firearm as a taser during the arrest.
