Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors recently purchased a $1.4 million compound in Los Angeles County’s Topanga Canyon, a rich and secluded Bohemian neighborhood of the county, Dirt reports.

Khan-Cullor, 37, is the creator of the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag, which she first created in 2013 following the killing of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. She is married to Black Lives Matter Toronto co-founder Janaya Khan.

Her new property takes up a quarter of an acre and includes multiple buildings. One of the houses includes three bedrooms and a bathroom, while another separate building, a guest house, includes one bedroom and one bathroom as a residence for visitors. The guest house is complete with a kitchenette and a private entrance.

The main building includes bamboo floors and a large, open-space living room. Beyond the small patio in the backyard lies a cabin suitable for an office or studio.
