A Florida teenager has pleaded guilty to strangling his mother in 2018 and burying her body beneath a church’s outdoor fire pit after an argument over a “D” he earned in school.

Gregory Logan Ramos, 17, of DeBary, faces 45 years in prison in the Nov. 2, 2018, death of 46-year-old Gail Elaine Cleavenger. He pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
