The point Jerry is making isn’t that no one makes good comedy anymore. It’s just rarer than ever before because with wokeness moving the gates they’re taking a lot of comedy off the table.
You can be The Babylon Bee and just ignore the gates, but most aren’t going to do that because they want mainstream success.
