Following an announcement from DuckDuckGo founder and CEO Gabriel Weinberg that the search engine would be down-ranking website associated with “Russian disinformation,” former users of the platform announced that they would be abandoning it in favor of Brave.
Luke Mulks, Vice President of business operations for Brave, released a tweet on Thursday welcoming new people to use not just their browser, but their private search engine as well.
Reminder, friends. @Brave is more than just a browser.
We also have neutral, Private @Brave Search.
User-first means getting out of your way.
Get in. https://t.co/Ioplmf0YYq
