(PM.) President Joe Biden told reporters on Tuesday that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is “doing a great job” on hurricane response in Florida just a day after Vice President Kamala Harris accused the Florida governor of “playing political games” over calls with her.
“The Governor of Florida has been cooperative. He’s said he’s gotten all that he needs. I talked to him again yesterday. I said ‘I know you’re doing a great job,'” Biden told reporters on Tuesday.

Biden then said that he gave DeSantis his personal phone number in order to get in contact with him if there is anything else that they need in Florida. This comes on the heels of Harris claiming just yesterday that DeSantis was playing “political games” as the crisis is ongoing by ignoring a phone call from her during the hurricane response.
