Judge Overturns Lower Court, Ruling Against Counting Votes In Pennsylvania County

A day after an Allegheny County judge allowed the counting of 2,349 ballots that were submitted on time in the Nov. 3 election but missing a printed date, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania reversed course and said it’s not the job of a county elections board to “relax or ignore” requirements of the election code.
