Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) tweeted on Sunday his perennial opinion on how the US should stop sending military aid to Israel, including aid that could fund their Iron Dome anti-missile defense system.
“The devastation in Gaza is unconscionable. We must urge an immediate ceasefire. The killing of Palestinians and Israelis must end. We must also take a hard look at nearly $4 billion a year in military aid to Israel. It is illegal for US aid to support human rights violations.”

Sanders in Oct. of the year 2019 had also previously proposed holding military aid from the US over Israel’s head as a sort of bribe to try and force Israel to change its policies, according to Fox News.
