CBS co-host Tony Dokoupil seems to think shoplifting is ok after viewing a video of a man stealing multiple items from a San Francisco Walgreens before leaving the store on a bicycle.
Dokoupil said ‘Well, I mean, I don’t know,” appearing to question whether to stop the shoplifter. “You don’t need to be a hero over some toothbrushes or whatever it is.”
Dokoupil then said that the shoplifter was probably getting something he needed while noting that nothing really should have been done to stop him.
