Dr. Anthony Fauci has now called for the release of medical records for nine patients who fell ill with COVID-similar symptoms prior to the pandemic. Six of these were miners who got sick after visiting a bat cave, and the other three were the researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology who came down with symptoms in November 2019.
Fauci gave an interview to The Financial Times on Thursday, saying that these medical records could provide much needed answers about COVID’s origin, The Daily Mail reported.
“I would like to see the medical records of the three people who are reported to have got sick in 2019,” Fauci said. “Did they really get sick, and if so, what did they get sick with?” He went on to ask “The same with the miners who got ill years ago… What do the medical records of those people say?” He asked.
“It is entirely conceivable that the origins of Sars-Cov-2 was in that cave and either started spreading naturally or went through the lab,” Fauci said.
