(Just The News) As Hunter Biden’s trial is set to begin in less than three weeks, the first son’s generous financial benefactor may be running out of funds.

Kevin Morris, the Hollywood lawyer and friend of Biden, who has loaned the first son at least $6.5 million since meeting him in 2020, has confirmed that his resources are running out, according to Politico.

“The reason Kevin got involved financially in the first place was that he could see that no one was going to help Hunter,” said a person close to Morris interviewed by the outlet. “Now, four and a half years later, there’s still no help — and now Kevin is completely tapped out. So just when Hunter is facing two criminal trials starting in a few weeks, he has no resources. It’s pretty dire.”

The outlet says Kevin Morris confirmed these comments.
