New Report Claims Trump Wrote ‘To-Do Lists’ For Executive Assistant On Back Of Classified Docs

Daily Mail

(Daily Mail) Former President Donald Trump took office recycling to a new level – writing notes to aide Molly Michael on the back of cards containing classified markings, according to a new report.

The notes included ‘to-do’ lists and other tasks for Michael, who served as an executive assistant to Trump in the White House and then followed him to Mar-a-Lago after he left office.

The FBI failed to discover the lists during an August 2022 raid on Trump’s private club in Florida, ABC News reported.

But Michael, upon returning to her work area following the raid, noticed the materials and alerted law enforcement.

According to ABC, which cites unidentified sources familiar with her statements, she told investigators she sometimes received ‘requests or taskings’ from Trump on the back of notecards.

She later saw that they had ‘visible classified markings,’ and included materials used to brief Trump for calls with foreign leaders on foreign policy matters from his time in the White House.

Sources told the network Michael found the cards under a drawer organizer the day following the FBI raid. She alerted law enforcement and ‘helped transfer them to the FBI’ the same day.

According to the report, when Trump heard agents wanted to interview Michael last year in connection with its documents probe, he told her ‘You don’t know anything about the boxes.’

Michael also testified about note cards before the House January 6 Committee.

She said they were known as ‘pocket cards’ that were used to convey information to the president.

Trump has railed against the classified documents probe as a witch hunt.

Last week, he blasted a charge in the indictment against him that alleged ‘the boss’ told an aide to delete security footage at Mar-a-lago. Trump called it a ‘fake’ charge.

The network identifies Michael as likely the person who is called ‘Trump Employee 2’ in the indictment filed by prosecutors.

The indictment describes the employee exchanging texts with indited alleged co-conspirator Walt Nauta about the boxes of materials uncovered at the club.

‘I opened the door and found this …’ Nauta wrote, with an image of boxes of documents and newspapers piled on the floor. The photo had ‘visible classified information redacted.’

‘Oh no oh no,’ the employee responded, adding: ‘I’m sorry potus had my phone.’
