(New York Post) The University of Connecticut students and fans brought chaos to the school’s campus celebrating UConn’s 76-59 national championship win over San Diego State in Houston on Monday night.
The Storrs, Conn., campus erupted into madness after the game ending, ringing in the Huskies’ first Men’s NCAA championship win since 2014 in Philadelphia-like fashion.
In videos and photos circulating on Twitter, fans and students climb lampposts, take down lampposts, and use them as battering rams to smash through the doors of a campus building.

Many students had been watching the game on campus at Gampel Pavilion before filling the street in celebration.
Outside of lampposts, what appeared to be a small active fire on campus had erupted before fire trucks came onto the scene.
