There’s a new drug infiltrating cities across the U.S. and it’s simply horrifying.
A new medicine, called Xylazine, or “tranq” has unleashed havoc in cities across the US by causing deadly symptoms including skin rotting. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the nation licenced this “zombie drug” for use in veterinary medicine. #xylazine #tranq #drugs #us pic.twitter.com/9gyPAxiOjU

Xylazine, otherwise known as “tranq,” “tranq dope,” and “zombie drug” has been wreaking havoc in major cities across the country with devastating effects: it can literally rot the user’s flesh off their bones.
Oh my sweet Jesus 😳
Flesh-eating drug ‘tranq’ meant for animals now linked to thousands of heroin/fentanyl ODs. Found in 91% of heroin in Philadelphia. https://t.co/1cBmlod9mz

Tranq — which is meant to be an animal tranquilizer — was first seen in Philly and it’s already been found in 36 states. It’s used for cutting heroin, fentanyl, and other illicit drugs. It’s a non-opioid, so people who overdose on it don’t respond to Narcan, the most common overdose reversal medicine that saves countless lives each year.
