(Meaww) The Secret Service on Tuesday, May 21, redoubled their efforts to refute reports that officers tried to obtain documents from the gun shop where Hunter Biden famously bought a Colt Cobra handgun, which his sister-in-law turned lover, subsequently threw in the trash, according to the New York Post.

According to federal court filings on Monday, May 20, the owner of Wilmington, Delaware’s StarQuest Shooter gun store was interviewed by the FBI.

The owner alleged that Secret Service and Delaware State Police agents visited his establishment the day after the .38-caliber revolver went missing. Despite this claim, the Secret Service has recently issued another denial.

When questioned about the latest filing by Special Counsel David Weiss, Anthony Guglielmi, Chief of Communications for the US Secret Service, informed the New York Post, “There is no change in our statement.”

Guglielmi was referring to the Secret Service’s 2021 statement, which asserted that its records showed agents had “no involvement” in the incident.

Regarding StarQuest Shooter proprietor Ron Palimere’s claims to the FBI, Guglielmi stated, “We were aware of the claims made at that time but could not find any information to independently corroborate them. At that time, the Biden family were not protectees of the Secret Service.”

During his FBI interview last week, Palimere informed federal agents that he visited his gun store on the evening of October 12, 2018, and his staff identified Biden as “a celebrity-type customer.”

Palimere expressed his desire to “complete the sale and get [Hunter] Biden out of the store” as quickly as possible, realizing that Joe Biden, Hunter’s father, was not a “gun supporter.” He was concerned that Hunter Biden’s presence in his establishment could negatively impact business.
