The lead organizer of Black Lives Matter Los Angeles, Dr. Melina Abdullah, accused Joe Biden of capitalizing of the movement’s efforts to defund law enforcement.
Abdullah said Biden “capitalized on our efforts to defund the police, and then tried to condemn the words at the same time,” in an Instagram video from Tuesday morning. She made the video while protesting Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti, attempting to thwart his potential for receiving a Biden cabinet position.
