In a case of peak irony, Time’s Up, a group started by the Hollywood elite in order to combat sexual abuse and harassment of women and tied closely to #Metoo, now finds itself facing its own sex abuse scandal.
“Almost as if it wasn’t ever really about any of that,” said Spectator’s Stephen Miller on Twitter.
“Time’s Up, founded to combat sexual harassment in the wake of #MeToo, has spent the last week grappling with its own reckoning. A $45 million lawsuit has accused one of its top members, Esther Choo, of failing to report sexual abuse.”
