(Daily Caller) The University of Pennsylvania received millions of dollars from Chinese donors with ties to Hunter Biden, Fox News reported Tuesday.

Chinese donors connected with either the China Entrepreneur Club or China Molybdenum — both of which had business dealings with Hunter Biden — collectively donated over $7 million to UPenn between 2018 and 2020, Fox News reported based on UPenn foreign gift reporting records obtained by Americans for Public Trust.

The large donations raise red flags following a recent House Oversight Committee memorandum alleging that Hunter Biden’s businesses have been involved in “influence peddling” schemes with Chinese partners, coupled with the fact that UPenn is home to President Joe Biden’s think tank, the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Between 2018 and 2020, UPenn received over $6 million from Chinese sources connected to the China Entrepreneur Club, a nonprofit composed of over 20 Chinese entrepreneurs, according to UPenn’s foreign gift records.

In 2011, Hunter Biden’s business partner at Burisma Holdings, Devon Archer, facilitated a meeting between the China Entrepreneur Club and then-vice president Biden, according to Breitbart.

At the time, Ma Weihua, was a member of the China Entrepreneur Club as well as China Merchants Bank’s CEO, which subsequently donated over $5.5 million to UPenn in 2018 and 2019, according to UPenn’s foreign gift records.

Another member of the China Entrepreneur Club also donated to UPenn after the Penn Biden Center was established, Fox reported.

In 2019, Deng Feng, managing director of Northern Light Venture Capital, donated $630,000 to UPenn, according to university records.

Chinese sources donated $105 million to UPenn between 2018 and 2022, and approximately $75 million to the university during Biden’s presidential campaign, Fox reported.

In addition to sources tied to the China Entrepreneur Club, between 2019 and 2020, UPenn also received over $1 million from individuals connected with China Molybdenum, which is today called CMOC Group Limited, Fox reported.

In 2016, Bohai Harvest RTS (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Company (BHR), where Hunter Biden was a board member, assisted China Molybdenum in purchasing an American cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for $3.8 billion, Daily Mail reported.

Three years later, according to UPenn records, the university received a $1 million donation from Cathay Fortune in 2019, which then had a controlling interest in China Molybdenum, according to Fox.

Likewise, in 2020, CMOC Group board member Gerry Wang donated $100,000 to UPenn, according to university records.
