Just after midnight on Thanksgiving morning, Antifa rioters in black bloc smashed up and vandalized numerous sites in Portland following a public call for comrades to riot against the Thanksgiving holiday, colonialism, capitalism and gentrification.
Antifa on Telegram and social media first announced the call-to-action earlier in the week to protest “white people celebrat[ing] the genocide of our ancestors.” Do-it-yourself tips were posted on identifying a clear target, scouting areas for attack and assessing risk.
