The “cannibal” who stabbed a man who he met through a gay dating app before slitting his throat and eating his testicles has been declared mentally fit to stand trial.
Mark Latunski met Kevin Bacon on Christmas Eve 2019, using the gay hook-up app Grindr. After Bacon arrived at his home in Bennington Township, Michigan, Latunski took him to a “secret room” that had been outfitted as a BDSM dungeon.
There, he later told police, he stabbed Bacon twice in the back of the neck, then strung him up and slashed his throat.
After that, according to a report by Michigan State Police Special 1st Lieutenant. David Kaiser, he castrated Bacon with a knife and ate his testicles.
