Geoff Upson has taken to social media and phallic drawings to bring attention to the poor conditions of roadways in his home province in New Zealand. Upson estimates that he has drawn over 100 neon green penises on road that require significant repair.

“If they come out and fix the road then 100 per cent of my drawing will be removed,” Upson told a local newspaper. “I’m about sick of calling Auckland transport” read Upson’s Facebook page, “So what I’ve done is I’ve gone and drawn a great artist’s impression of a penis.”

This isn’t totally Upson’s idea, in 2015 a British woman used the same tactic to bring attention to her decaying street. Auckland Transport, the city agency in charge of maintaining the roads have filed a complaint with the local police department.
