(LifeSiteNews) The Republican candidate for governor of Arizona mocked her Democrat opponent earlier this week, challenging her to “milk a bull” if she truly believes in her party’s stance on gender ideology.
At a campaign rally at a rodeo last Sunday, Kari Lake, a former news anchor who is now the Republican nominee in Arizona’s upcoming gubernatorial election, challenged her Democratic Party opponent, Arizona’s Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, to “milk a bull” if she really “thinks there are 47 different genders.”

The remark seemed to elicit laughter from many online, with hundreds of people taking to social media to express their support for Lake’s statement.
“I love this woman,” responded one user.
“She’s a natural at this,” added another.
The furthering of the LGBT agenda has been a hotly debated topic throughout the country in recent years – and in particular in the leadup to this year’s midterm elections – with Arizona being no exception.
In 2021, Arizona’s Republican Gov. Doug Ducey vetoed a bill that would have forced parents to opt into the state’s sex-ed curriculum, which included teaching children about sexuality and gender identity.
In May of this year, LifeSiteNews also reported that the Arizona Department of Education was promoting an online chatroom for so-called “LGBTQ kids,” where minors could privately speak to adults about gender and sexuality without their parents’ knowledge.
Although Lake has previously been accused of hypocrisy after a picture surfaced of her posing with male “drag performer” Richard Stevens, with Stevens saying he once witnessed the candidate bring her elementary-aged daughter to a drag event, Lake has denied the man’s account of the events and has continued to publicly oppose the LGBT agenda, particularly when it involves children.
