The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives voted to strike down a bill which would have resurrected the Keystone Pipeline, among other things, to help alleviate inflation and promote energy independence.
“House Dems just voted against a measure by @HouseGOP to consider the American Energy Independence from Russia Act,” Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-OK) tweeted, “a critical bill that would unleash American energy production. Clearly, Dems don’t care about solving our crushing energy crisis. Unbelievable!”

According to Fox News, “the American Energy Independence from Russia Act, would approve the Keystone XL pipeline without a presidential permit, direct the president to commission an energy security plan, and open up oil and gas leases across the U.S., among other things.”
