(Daily Mail) Former President Donald Trump appears set to bring businessman and ex-rival Vivek Ramaswamy with him on the campaign trail after Ramaswamy endorsed Trump Tuesday night.
Ramaswamy joined Trump a day after dropping out of the race to publicly implore voters to support the former president in next week’s New Hampshire primaries at a rally in Atkinson.
After Ramaswamy pledged to help him beat President Joe Biden in November, Trump seemed to suggest that there was much the tech entrepreneur could do for his campaign.
‘He’s going to be working with us and he’ll be working with us for a long time,’ Trump said, as many in the crowd chanted for Ramaswamy to become the vice presidential nominee.
Trump – who somewhat turned on Ramaswamy in the days leading up to the caucuses – talked about how impressive the first-time campaigner was.

‘He’s a fantastic guy,’ Trump said. ‘He’s got something that’s very special because he started off with a zippo and he ended up very strong.’
‘He did a great job. I was actually surprised when he called because he was doing well. And it’s an honor to have his endorsement,’ Trump added.
Ramaswamy appeared on Fox News Tuesday night and after calling for Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley to drop out of the race, said he served at the pleasure of the former president.
‘I want to serve this country any way I can,’ he responded to Jesse Watters asking if he’d be vice president.
Ramaswamy, 38, a charismatic multi-millionaire, came a distant fourth in the Iowa caucuses, the first 2024 contest in the nation, behind Trump , Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley .
The fast-talking biotech businessman told his shocked followers in Des Moines, Iowa on Monday night: ‘I think it is true that we did not achieve the surprise that we wanted to deliver tonight.
‘As of this moment we are going to suspend this presidential campaign…there is no path for me to be the next president absent things we don’t want to see in this country.’
Ramaswamy called Trump earlier in the night – and endorsed the former president, saying an ‘America First’ candidate needed to be the one to win the White House.

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is dropping out of the 2024 race after disappointing results in the Iowa caucuses
Vivek Ramaswamy came in a disappointing fourth place with under 8 percent of the votes from Iowa’s caucusgoers. The result prompted the entrepreneur to drop out and endorse former President Donald Trump, who led the pack with 51 percent support
‘Earlier tonight, I called Donald Trump to tell him that I congratulate him on his victory. And now going forward, he will have my full endorsement for the presidency,’ Ramaswamy said.
Ramaswamy spent the final hours of his campaign calling out the media for erasing him from the race.
In a post on X, Ramaswamy shared a Fox News/Associated Press survey that gave respondents only three Republican candidates to choose from – Trump, Haley and DeSantis.
‘RIGGED,’ Ramaswamy wrote late Monday afternoon. ‘Fox & AP just sent a broad “voter attitudes” poll on the eve of the caucus, which they’ll report on TV right before the Iowa caucus. It leaves one candidate off the list.’
Ramaswamy’s spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin also called out The New York Times for only including Trump, Haley and DeSantis on the newspaper’s Iowa caucus results landing page.
When web users clicked to see a full list of candidates, Ramaswamy’s name appeared there.
‘Stick it to the media & shock the world at the Iowa caucus tonight,’ Ramaswamy encouraged his Hawkeye State supporters in his post on X.
