On Wednesday, House members Rashida Tlaib and Cory Bush voted against HR 6679, known as the ‘No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorist Acts’
The bill, which was sponsored by Tom McClintock (R-CA) and passed by the House in a 422-2-1 vote, states that that any person who “participated in, planned, financed, afforded material support to, or otherwise facilitated” the October 7 attack on Israel or attacks thereafter ‘shall be ineligible for any relief under the immigration laws.’
The language further stated that ‘Any alien who carried out, participated in, planned, financed, afforded material support to, or otherwise facilitated any of the attacks against Israel initiated by Hamas beginning on October 7, 2023, is inadmissible.’
Tlaib has long been a Hamas supporter while Bush was involved in the anti-American BLM movement and ‘defund the police’ efforts.
