(Daily Mail) A top Republican has torn into a ‘damning’ photo of Biden with a Hunter-linked aide on Air Force Two while they were flying to Ukraine to demand prosecutors drop the Burisma Holdings investigation.
Congresswoman Elise Stefanik slammed the image of the then-Vice President with Amos Hochstein, Biden’s current special presidential coordinator, which was taken on December 6, 2015.
Hochstein was allegedly in communication with Hunter’s associates at Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings when the first son was serving on the firm’s board.
Biden was threatening to withhold $1billion in US aid if they did not fire their top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin.
He was indeed sacked three months after the December 2015 trip to Ukraine.

In the image, Hochstein is seen briefing Biden. According to Stefanik, this shows the ‘Biden Administration not only knew of Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business dealings, but also that Joe Biden was intimately involved.’
Stefanik told Fox News Digital in a statement: ‘This damning picture of then Vice President Joe Biden on Air Force Two en route to Ukraine talking with Amos Hochstein is just further evidence that Biden and senior officials in the Biden Administration not only knew of Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business dealings, but also that Joe Biden was intimately involved while Vice President.
‘At the time of this photo, Hochstein was in communication with Hunter Biden and Burisma where Hunter served on the board.
‘We also know that this photo was taken on Air Force Two ahead of Joe Biden’s now infamous meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, where Biden threatened to have aid withheld if a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma was not fired.
‘All evidence points directly to Joe Biden being deeply compromised.
‘House Republicans will leave no stone unturned in our investigations into Biden’s involvement in his family’s influence peddling scheme.’

According to a Senate Republican report released in 2020, in October 2015 Hochstein raised concerns with Biden and Hunter that Hunter’s position on Burisma’s board enabled Russian disinformation efforts.
He said that Biden’s involvement risked undermining US policy in Ukraine.
This wasn’t the only time Hochstein allegedly warned Biden about Hunter’s position.
According to Victoria Nuland, who was serving as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian Affairs in 2015, it was mentioned in the conversation pictured on the aircraft heading to Ukraine.
Hochstein also told Congress in the 2020 report: ‘We were starting to think about a trip to Ukraine, and I wanted to make sure that he was aware that there was an increase in chatter on media outlets close to Russians and corrupt oligarchs-owned media outlets about undermining his message — to try to undermine his [Vice President Biden’s] message and including Hunter Biden being part of the board of Burisma.’

This comes after a highly-anticipated internal FBI document – obtained by DailyMail.com – included bombshell claims that Joe Biden and his son Hunter forced a Ukrainian oil executive to pay them $10 million in exchange for the then-Vice President’s influence in getting a senior prosecutor fired.

According to the conversation between a confidential source and Burisma CFO Vadim Pojarski in 2015, Hunter Biden was hired onto the company’s board to ‘protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems.’
Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky told the source: ‘It costs 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to another Biden.’
Zlochevsky added that, although Hunter ‘was stupid,’ and his (Zlochevsky’s) dog was smarter, he was needed on the board ‘so everything will be okay.’

Burisma was looking to spend up to $30 million on a U.S.-based oil and gas company. However, at the time, it was also the subject of a criminal investigation by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, which the company knew ‘would have a substantial negative impact on Burisma’s prospective IPO in the United States.’
When asked about the investigation, the form states that Zlochevsky replied: ‘Don’t worry Hunter will take care of all of those issues through his dad.’
Later, then-Vice President Joe Biden made a public statement that Shokin was ‘corrupt, and that he should be fired/removed from office.’
DailyMail.com previously reported that the 17 audio recordings of phone calls – two of Joe Biden and 15 of Hunter Biden – were kept as an ‘insurance policy.’
The FBI FD-1023 form was created on June 30, 2020 based on information from a highly-paid informant and brought to the attention of Republicans by a whistleblower.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, obtained and published the document after a months-long back-and-forth between the top
and the FBI through ‘legally protected disclosures’ by Department of Justice (DOJ) whistleblowers.
The document contains a limited number of redactions to protect the confidential human source, the handling agents, DOJ whistleblower names and references to connect ongoing investigations, according to a Senate aide.
The Republicans expressed their continued commitment to uncovering the truth regarding the Biden family business scheme.
White House spokesperson for oversight and investigations Ian Sams fired back after the FD-1023’s publish, accusing Republicans of going after ‘debunked’ claims.
