VP Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg were at the White House on Monday discussing ‘clean transit’ and the soaring price of gas.
Harris said that if American’s are concerned about the high price of gas, then they should buy electric cars, not mentioning the high price of electric vehicles.
Transportation Secretary Buttigieg talked about the governments $5 billion investment to build out an electric vehicle charging network so everyone can benefit from rural to urban to suburban communities.
But that is years away and offers American’s little comfort dealing with the present price of gas.
