A cozy bungalow measuring just 328 square feet sold for a hefty $1,025,000. It’s a sale price that pencils out to an astonishing $3,125 per square foot.

According to the local multiple listing service, it’s the highest price-per-square-foot sale in Santa Cruz County for a single family home that isn’t oceanfront or on extensive acreage.

Last on the market in 1999, the home sold that year for $250,000.
