This is eyewitness video from a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta that had to make an emergency landing after a man tried to open the plane’s door midair.
Passengers shared video of the incident and the assailant fighting near the door.
According to one passenger, the suspected was an off-duty flight attendant who was wearing an orange vest with a crash helmet on.
The plane was diverted to Oklahoma City where “the man was taken into custody by law enforcement.” A sweep of the airplane with sniffer dogs was then conducted before it was allowed to continue on to its Atlanta destination.
