An outraged parent in Peoria, Arizona, exposed critical race theory curriculum taught in the school district and paid for by the NFL in partnership with the Arizona School Board Association.

At the Peoria Unified School District’s governing board meeting on May 13, the unidentified parent named EverFi’s “306: Continuing the Story,” a digital course for middle school and high school students that “uses counter storytelling to reveal Black experiences that are not often told…” or have been “purposefully silenced,” according to description outlined on the program’s website.

The online “cultural literacy” lessons, which the “[b]est fit is 8-12 grades,” offer continuation of the “306: African-American History” course. The class draws connections between historical events from the Civil Rights era to modern day.
