The Joe Biden administration wants China to release all its data relevant to the origins of Covid-19, saying it has “deep concerns” about “early findings” by the World Health Organization (WHO), which the US recently rejoined.
“We have deep concerns about the way in which the early findings of the COVID-19 investigation were communicated and questions about the process used to reach them,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in a Saturday statement.
Sullivan is calling for an “independent report” that is “free from intervention or alteration by the Chinese government.”
