If you missed it, there’s a big summit this week that California is preparing for, and if Joe Biden and Xi Jinping are going to be there, you can bet definite-presidential-hopeful Gavin Newsom will be there too.
Newsom is a master at his craft. There’s a reason Cali votes for him. He’s slick: He embraces the criticisms of himself and his allies and spins them to make the critics seem like the mean, joyless ones.
But he overplayed it with the “clean up the house” bit.
