(PM.) There’s no doubt that New York’s Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulled a fire alarm on Saturday, September 30 in Congress to prevent a vote from moving forward on a 45-day stop gap spending bill.
He admitted it, and there’s video evidence that proves it. But Bowman has said repeatedly that he pulled the fire alarm somewhat accidentally when he was just trying to open the door.
New footage out on Thursday shows unequivocally that he knew exactly what he was doing, did it intentionally, and then lied about it.
The surveillance footage shows Bowman at a set of entrance doors to the Cannon office building. He walks over to the doors, removes emergency signs from the doors, and then goes back to pull the alarm.

The Democrat and progressive Squad member spoke after being charged with a misdemeanor on Thursday, saying that he was “not trying to disrupt any official government proceeding.”
