Video: NYPD Taking A Bite Out Of Crime With A Robotic Police Dog

The New York Police Department’s robotic dog was spotted in the city exiting a building today. Nicknamed the Digidog, the 70-pound robotic machine has already been deployed to a hostage situation as well as a gunman who barricaded himself inside a home.

Built by Boston Dynamics, the remote-controlled dog is equipped with lights, a camera and two-way communication, allowing police officers to speak with potential suspects and/or victims. Check out the video below:
