Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Scott Perry and Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg argued during a House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee hearing on Wednesday about the fact that car manufacturers are going broke over Joe Biden’s electric vehicle (EV) mandates.
Perry pointed out that most consumers can’t afford the high price of EV’s which has caused company’s like Ford to have a huge backlog of vehicle’s sitting on dealer lots. It has also forced manufacturers to raise prices on gas-powered vehicles.
