(PM.) On Wednesday afternoon, Trump appeared before a packed house in Maquoketa, Iowa, with a long line of people waiting in the rain to see the 2024 GOP frontrunner speak.

Trump told the crowd, “we’re going to win the Iowa caucuses in a historic landslide,” noting recent polling, which shows Trump moving ahead of Biden among voters.

At one point during his speech, a man from the crowd yelled “I love you,” to which Trump responded, “Thank you, I love you too even though it’s not generally my thing… when a guy screams out ‘I love you,’ but that’s okay, we love you all.”

Trump called the MAGA movement started under his first term the “greatest political movement of all time.”

Trump said “I hope we have a victory, otherwise this country is finished,” noting the state of the border under the Biden administration during his speech.
