Traveler’s TikTok Video Goes Viral After Realizing Airplanes Seats Have Built-In Head Rests

The video has been viewed over 4.2 million times.

(New York Post) A woman’s TikTok has gone viral after she realized the sides of a plane seat’s headrests can fold out, turning into a built-in neck rest.

Courtney, who posts under the username travelingaroundtheglobe, posted the video in 2021, but it has since resurfaced again online.

In the 15-second clip — which has now been viewed 4.2 million times — she demonstrates how to pull the sides of the headrest forward so you can rest your head when sleeping.

“How old were you when you figured this out?” Courtney wrote on the video, admitting in the caption she was “today years old.”

According to thousands of comments on the video, the ‘hack’ wasn’t only news to Courtney.

“I’m going somewhere [soon]. Thanks for the tip, will be using this if the plane has that feature,” wrote one viewer.

“I was today years old,” commented another.
