(Modernity) Joe Biden’s handlers have him wearing huge “lifestyle” sneakers in an effort to stop him constantly falling over.
This week people wondered why Biden’s shoes looked so humongous as he walked across the White House lawn.
Did they turn his shoes into hovercrafts?

While Biden has been wearing dress sneakers for at least a year, these are something else.
They have a massive ledge at the back that provide extra balance, presumably to prevent Biden from toppling over backwards.
Inside edition did a segment on the Hoka shoes, noting that they’ve been designed for “maximum stability.”
