On Wednesday, The View host defended New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay for her comments saying that seeing “dozens of American flags” flying in a suburb was “disturbing.”
“I’m so surprised, actually, that she is receiving this kind of backlash,” said Hostin.
Hostin said that people need to listen to the experiences of people of color, and slammed Trump for politicizing the flag.
